YOUTH NEWS

Lads to Leader Puppets will begin from 4:30 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, January 15th and continue every Sunday through February 19th or until further notice. See Jane Moser for details.

It may seem that we are jumping the gun a little on this one, but the 45th Annual Stark County Youth Meeting will be here soon. We are excited that Joe Wells of Focus Press will be our speaker this year. Joe is an excellent communicator with youth who travels the country as a speaker for youth and family events. He is a writer for Think magazine and the editor of the Christian teen magazine Kaio. He delights in helping people make the connection with the Word of God and encouraging them to be transformed for Christ. Having served God in a public way since 2000 as a youth minister, Joe recently became the minister of the Lakeside church of Christ in Orange Park, FL. As always the youth meeting will include classes taught by area youth worker and ministers as well as the “Ambassadors” and “Express” a drama and vocal group from Ohio Valley University. We encourage our youth in grades 6 – college to plan now to be a part of this annual event. It is always a great weekend. Brochures will be available soon in the foyer. Pick one up and register early. If you register before March 12th the church will pay the registration fee.
